Alex graduated from Northwestern University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and also completed the Segal Design Certificate and Architectural Desgin Certificate.
At Northwestern, Alex's first interaction with design was in his freshman Engineering, Thinking, Communications class where he and his group designed the Kitchen Cart for a hemiplegic user. Throughout his time at Northwestern, he's been able to explore the design process in depth on many projects that are further expanded upon in this portfolio.
Alex is a problem solver and loves working with his hands. Outside of the classroom and work, he loves to rock climb, cook, build things, and read comics.
